Jinyuan was founded in Taipei, Taiwan in July 1978. During this period, the company specializes in the molding and injection of plastic molds, and became the first JIT cooperation manufacturer in the display Department of Philips, an international major manufacturer, to supply its global overseas production base. In 1983, it won the ISO-9002 quality assurance factory recognition certificate issued by the Commodity Inspection Bureau of the Ministry of economic affairs of Taiwan. It has also won the "partner of Business Excellence Award" issued by Philips for many times. In order to get closer to the global supply chain market, Jinyuan set up a factory in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, China in August 1997.
